What is a private event at La Soffritta and who is it for?

It’s a cooking experience reserved exclusively for your group — no other participants, no schedule to share with strangers. You can choose from tried-and-tested formats like a cooking class, a birthday party, or a hen/stag do, or build something entirely custom with us. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to celebrate in an original way, as well as groups with specific needs: a particular recipe in mind, dietary requirements, or timings that don’t fit our standard classes.

How many people can join?

Our Verona space is a 250 sqm open space that comfortably fits up to 25 people. If your group is larger, or if you’d prefer a different venue, we can organize the event elsewhere — a local winery, for example — still with our staff and the full La Soffritta experience.

How long does the event last and what's included?

The standard duration is around 2 hours. Everything is included: ingredients, equipment, workstations, and our chefs guiding you throughout. We take care of all the logistics — you just bring the right people.

Can we choose the menu?

Yes. We suggest a seasonal base menu, but we work it out with you beforehand to fit your group’s preferences, any allergies or intolerances, and any special requests. If you have a specific recipe or theme in mind, let’s talk — we’re used to building experiences from scratch.

Does anyone need to know how to cook?

Not at all. Our chefs guide every step of the way, making the whole thing fun and engaging for everyone — including people who’ve never cooked a day in their lives. Skill level doesn’t matter: what counts is showing up ready to enjoy it.

Can the event be held in English?

Yes, absolutely. Private events can be run in Italian or English depending on your group’s needs. It works beautifully for international or mixed-language groups.
